My Arctis 7 needed to be replaced after 4 years. Because I was satisfied Steelseries and was looking for an upgrade where especially the sound was slightly better, I looked for a wireless gaming headset, initially I went to buy the Arctis Pro Wireless, but then the Arctis Nova Pro was just released for just that little bit more and little price difference … It is certainly one of the more expensive gaming headsets but 2 weeks later I still think it is worth the money.

Bij het binnen krijgen van de headset was het uitpakken en opzetten heel makkelijk uit de doos usb van PS5 naar de dac headset aan en het werkt. Naar de instellingen op de dac was even kijken maar werkt heel makkelijk als je het door heb. Je kan ook via het wieltje op de headset de instellingen doen wat super handig is. De batterijen die swappen uit de dac is enorm handig. De anc is er wel maar het helpt niet heel veel. De ambient sound mode is echter wel heel slecht maar ik heb het altijd uit staan. Ik wilde hem graag voor spatial audio op pc met uitgebreide instellingen maar ik kan er nog niet echt handig mee worden de equaliser is vrij ingewikkeld dus krijg het geluid eigenlijk tot op heden niet naar wens.. door de ps5 weet ik wel de potentie van de headset wat alleen maar beter kan worden als ik hem eenmaal goed ingesteld krijg. De headset is wat prijzig maar kan het wel begrijpen met alle opties die erbij zitten maar het laat nog wel wat potentie over wat hopelijk opgelost wordt met updates e.d.

On a technical level, I am in love with this headset. Bluetooth in combination with 2.4 GHz is very useful and I also found the sound quality quite okay (after EQ tuning). The fact that the batteries are interchangeable (and therefore replaceable) is very nice. The software, Sonar, also comes with a lot of useful features.
Problem with this headset is that it just isn’t comfortable. There is a pressure point in both ear cups, part of ANC. These just push into your ear. This just doesn’t sit well. For this price you expect comfort, but you just don’t get it.

After years of being a loyal Logitech customer, the last 2 headsets have disappointed me, especially the build quality was bad and therefore the sound dropped out quite quickly on one side. After doing some research I came across this headset. I can’t give a bad point, because everything on it and with it is to your liking. The separate base station gives some extra options for volume control, but also a display that you can personalize with optional apps. I have installed an app myself that continuously scrolls through the resources of the PC, such as cpu/gpu/ram load and temp. The presence of two batteries also makes continuous use easier. You charge 1 battery in the base station, while you use the other. Batteries are currently fine for multi-day use. You slide the microphone out of the shell, which in itself can be neatly hidden. It feels somewhat vulnerable, but time will show how strong or weak this system is.

This is really a headset that you can say to yourself… As a “gamer” and not a gamer, I can tell you that this is really a master piece. I have had the Logitech G933 since 2015 until 2020 when the Logitech G935. both had problems centering the audio. this could be remedied by moving the on/off button. The last one broke again… I had a total of 4 of those headsets (under warranty)
So it was time for a good headset. Simply googled “best headset for gaming” and this Stealseries was among them.
I was immediately sold on the design and the charging dock. I was just a bit concerned about the price. After seeing many reviews I still considered it. and had 0 regrets.
The sound: the sound is 10/10, you can customize it down to the last detail as you want. So that you can hear footsteps better, etc., for example. They also have ready-made profiles for many games.
Sonor Audio program: Top program, quite clear and not too much fuss.
Microphone: I can be heard well and clearly by others who hear me. Profiles can also be created for the microphone.
Noise canceling: Damn, that works beautifully. To activate this, simply press the on/off button once (when it is on) and then it beeps, and you will immediately notice a difference. In the beginning it seems like you are in the mountains, busy, I can’t describe it. He picks up sound via the microphone, you also hear yourself so you don’t talk so loudly.
