The fun starts when you unpack the package. The headset is packed in a nice box. The headset itself also has a nice design. It is very lightweight. The ear cushions fit well and softly over the ears. The cushion on the arch is also very soft, so it does not press on the head. Installation is very easy with the included dongle. Make sure you set it in the right position! (PC or PS) The sound is very good while playing a shooter game. Very good to hear whether someone is walking left or right. Even without noise cancellation, the ambient noise is less audible. You can set this in 3 positions. (Normal, noise cancellation and ambient noise can be heard) Muting yourself is very easy by raising the microphone. All in all a good choice!

Sound is excellent compared to my Artis 7 p+. All in all a super headset with the perfect crossover sound. This is super useful for recording phones while gaming without having to mute the sound in-game. Works perfectly with discord! Definitely recommended for all-rounder

I’ve had the headset for almost 3 weeks now. I use the headset for my Playstation 5 and I mainly play Call of Duty Warzone on it. Review is therefore also based on experience with a shooter and I can compare with previous headsets that I have had and have.
The headset itself is made of a nice material. To some it may come across as a plastic feel, however I think it fits very well with the PS5 and the headset feels solid. It is also a fairly light headset, which is pleasant for prolonged use. The material for the ear cushions is very soft and immediately seals off the environment well. The disadvantage is that this material does not handle heat well, so you can suffer from warm ears and sweat. You notice this especially on very hot days and this can be annoying.
Headset works well with the PS5 and if you adjust sound or mute the microphone (by moving it back to vertical position), the PS5 will indicate this nicely. This is also nice, because the headset lacks indicators about the level of sound, but also whether the noise canceling is on, for example, and in which position. Noise canceling works well in my opinion, but it takes some getting used to in the beginning if you have not had such a headset before. Sound of the headset is good, in my opinion you can hear all important sounds, so you can respond well to the gameplay. This is the most important to me and I am very satisfied with it. The headset also lasts a long time and I didn’t have to charge it during the day, even with a gaming session of more than 8 hours. I charge the headset when I’m not using it. Microphone is reasonable. Others tell me that level is good, but my voice comes across as tinny.
All in all a good headset in my opinion for a shooter with a few points of attention.

When purchasing equipment, I am always a fan of spending a little more for a better product. My first impression when unpacking the Sony Inzone H9 headset was immediately good, it looked and felt like quality. It was also a nice bonus that I really appreciated that no plastic was used in the packaging. The headset has a comfortable weight. I’ve had a heavier wireless headset in the past where turning and leaning back could lead to weight loss that I’ve never had a problem with with the Sony Inzone H9. In addition, the shape is also excellent and the size of the ear cups is great. Some headsets still want to cause pain to the ears with longer use, which I did not suffer from with the Sony Inzone H9. In terms of sound, I have to compare it with my previous headsets. My most recent headset was still fresh in my mind. It felt deeper. A bit like watching a movie at home and in the cinema. The bass may not be quite up to that level in this cinema comparison but definitely heading in the right direction in voice quality and melodic music. Better sound quality means better immersion. That’s important to me because my favorite games on my PC are mostly open world single player RPGs like the witcher 3, skyrim and mass effect. But also games like gears of war. Games with a story where you forget the world around you for a while for a better experience. What certainly helps with that and what I also appreciated is the noise canceling. As someone who shares his game room/office with his wife who has a lot of meetings, I have made good use of this function and will be an auto-include for me in the future when buying a headset. Conclusion great headset and I would definitely recommend it.

– I bought the H7 and now the H9. I slightly recommend buying the H9, although this is a personal preference because I think the ear cushions on the H9 are even better than on the H7.
– There is also some noise cancellation with the H9, although it is certainly not the best, you can still hear something, but every little bit helps ;).
– The downside compared to the H7 is that the H9 flattens out faster, but whatever; charge that thing on time and then there will be no problem ;).
– The ear cushions are nice and soft and sit wonderfully on the ears, the headband is also soft and does not hurt the head. I can literally play for hours without any problem.
– Another reason why I buy the Sony gaming headphones is that if you put the microphone up, my buddy can no longer hear me via Skype, so if you have to cough or say something privately when someone is with you, you turn the microphone up and then that person can no longer hear you. Very easy and works great.
– The microphone is also very good here, my buddy doesn’t complain and neither do I, everything is great, even via Skype, but I should mention that I have a new gaming PC for 2645 euros and my buddy has a new gaming laptop for 2000 euros. The reason I’m just mentioning this is that when we both had a laptop that was 5-6 years older, there were sometimes some problems with the sound and the like, sometimes it is also due to your laptop or PC or something. Now suddenly we don’t have all this misery anymore, just for your information.
– The sound of the Sony H9 is also really good, especially if you adjust it to your own liking via the Inzone software. Don’t forget that you have to adjust the sound (mss) in Windows itself, I couldn’t adjust certain things such as the bass etc… this was because it was not set correctly in the Windows settings. So keep that in mind. Can you say that once everything is properly adjusted, if you then, for example, listen to YouTube, rammstein or something, it will sound very good ;).
– Regarding PC gaming; I don’t really understand some people or reviewers at least say it’s just okay for PC gaming? Hug? So I absolutely disagree with that. Like I just said; Adjust everything properly to your liking in the inzone software and then also in the game settings themselves and you can be assured that the sound is really good for gaming via PC/laptop, great. For example, I’m playing back4blood and I hear the zombie coming towards me on the right or left. Of course, when things get more hectic, you lose some of that advantage, but that is not abnormal because so much is happening at that moment.
– The buttons are also very good, you can quickly turn the sound down or up via the headphones, turn ANC off or on, etc.
– Bluetooth is turned off for me, I’m drinking. I only use the headphones via the supplied stick. You just have to test what you want yourself, via the PC Bluetooth here, only via that stick.
– What can sometimes happen is that you are watching YouTube, for example, and you are listening to someone or something and that they suddenly sing or talk slowly, then you should refresh the page and then it is solved again, that You may have that in mind, but it doesn’t bother me, it’s a small thing that is quickly fixed.
– In the Inzone software, in my opinion it is best that you; automatic switching off of LED = turn on. Noise reduction and ambient noise are also on.
– For the equalizer, custom is as follows; the first 2 are quite high, the 3rd just a little lower, the other half way up. But you have to decide this for yourself. But I did increase the bass, it’s just more fun.
I can’t say much wrong about these headphones. Pricey? Yes folks, it is certainly not cheap, but buy one for 60 euros and you will notice a number of differences ;). If you spend quite a few hours gaming like me and listening to/watching YouTube and so on, the sound should be okay, the ear cushions should also be good, etc. That’s why you often pay a bit more than the lesser headphones.
My review is purely focused on PC (and with Skype).
